ABCD supports primary and secondary breast cancer patients to make informed choices. Sharing information and up to date news on treatments, breast surgeries, consultants, hospitals and providing useful links.
ABCD are an organisation and network offering peer to peer support for people with breast cancer. Aiming to reduce fear, anxiety and isolation, while supporting them to resume normal life, living both with and beyond cancer.
MetUp.Org
METUPUK is a Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) patient advocacy group working to improve outcomes for those living with MBC.
METUPUK won’t stop until it is downgraded from an incurable disease to a chronic illness. It wants people with MBC to gain access to the very best medicines to help them live longer and improve their quality of life and ultimately works towards the day when MBC will be cured.
The Pink Place
Formed out of Experience
The Pink Place was founded in 2010 by Julia Dingwall and Janis Taylor, two local ladies who spotted the need for this kind of compassionate support in the Basingstoke area.
Julia, diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, had her hair cut and cared for during and after treatment by her friend Janis, owner of Taylors Hair and Beauty Salon.
